Thanksgiving overtime thriller - Townies Division Champions
In front of ten thousand fans, the Townies clinched the regular-season Division I title in one of the most exciting Thanksgiving games in recent history.

Quarterback Sean Arlan rushed for 69 yards, including two touchdowns, and collected 116 yards on nine pass completions, one of them for a TD, as East Providence handed La Salle its first regular-season loss in four years. Scores by Khalil Kallimullah and Jerome Blair were key to the Townies success, but the four points scored off of the foot of kicker Sam Lovett, including the game winning kick, proved to be just what the Townies needed to take the game and the Division title.

As the top seed heading into the playoffs, East Providence will host Portsmouth Tuesday night at 6 at Pierce.
