2004
5/26 vs. Woonsocket Finals
Recap: The Townies traveled to CCRI tonight for the second time in two days to face the Novans for the State Title. Like in the semis the Townies came out a bit flat especially in our hitting and serving which helped the  Novans. In the second and third games the Townies Played up to their potential and took a 2 game to one lead. In the fourth the Townies again came out strong taking a 8-4 lead but after getting stuck in one rotation the Novans were able to overcome the lead and take an 8 point lead of their own. The Townies made a come back but a bit late. This was a set up for an exciting final and 5th game. The Townies took leads 4-2 and 5-4 but the Novans struck back taking 12-8 lead. This was a replica of the second match in Woonsocket when the Townies were winning 12-7 in the 5th. Again it would be Townies defense that came through to win the fifth.
Scores:18-25,25-22,25-19,15-12  Check out the full results here

5/24 vs. Coventry Semifinals
Recap: The Townies tonight traveled to CCRI in Lincoln to face the Oakers who for the past season have been trying to beat the Townies. In the first it looked like the Oakers would do just that with their tenacious defense. The Townies composed themselves and allowed the Oakers to score a total of 34 points in the last three games. The Townies will face Woonsocket in the Finals for a rubber match.
Scores:28-30,25-9,25-12,25-13

5/19 vs. Chariho 1/4 Finals
Recap: The Townies tonight will host the Chargers from Chariho High in the quarter finals. The Townies had a bye to get here. The Chargers defeated Cumberland in a close five gamer at home to get here. The Townies faced the Chargers back in the Boat World Tourney finals. he Townies in two straight but as we all know every team has improved from the beginning of the season. The Townies probably had their worst hitting match of the season but the defense did it for us tonight
Scores:25-12,25-19,25-18
