2010 SEASON

 

 HEAD COACH ALEX BUTLER begins his fourth season since taking over the Townie program from long time mentor, and RI Interscholastic League Hall of Famer (Class of '07) Luis Carvalho.  Coach Butler is a 1993 graduate of EPHS. At EP, Butler earned two First Team All-State honors ('91 and '92 seasons), captained the team during the '91, and '92 seasons and led the Townies to their first ever State Title game. Coach Butler was named the 2009 Division 1 Coach of the Year. Butler served as Carvalho's assistant from 2002 until 2006.  Butler is also the Head Boy's Basketball Coach.  Coach Butler is a graduate of Rhode Island College. 
  Coach Mike Solitro begins his fourth season as Assistant Coach.  Solitro has a strong passion for the game and is a great motivator. Coach Solitro led the 2009 JV to the State Championship.  Solitro is also the Head Girl's Basketball Coach.  Coach Solitro is a Rhode Island College graduate.
