 The Girls' Track Team defeated Rogers and tied Portsmouth yesterday at Rogers High School. Leading the way for the Townies were Darian Dailey and Tess Jones, each winning two events each. Dailey won the long and triple jumps for the second week in a row while Jones picking up the slack for a sick Yuli Henriquez won the 800 and 1500 meter runs. Other event winners included Caitlin Lamb who won the Javelin with a personal best throw of 77'-5", Jessica Cordiero won the discus with a personal best of 72-11 and finished second in the shot put with a personal best throw of 29'-1". Catherine Browning won the 3000m. Rachael Finn edged out Sierra Cunningham in the 100m run and Cunningham ran a personal best time of 61.9 in winning the 400m run. Finn also finished second in the 200m dash. Deonna DaSilva was 3rd in the 100 and 200 meter runs. The 4 x 100m relay team made up of Cunningham, DaSilva, Dailey and Finn won in a season best time of 52.5.
